FOR EMPLOYERS

How it works

Three steps get an account approved. Two of them are instant. Here's exactly which is which, and why the third one never is.

01

Claim your company

Self-service

Search the same government employment permit register candidates already see on visajobs.ie. If your company has sponsored a permit before, its record is already there, with its real filing history attached. No match? Create a fresh company profile from scratch instead.

02

Verify your work email

Self-service

Add your company's website, then request a code sent to an address on that domain. Type it in and you're verified. Nobody has to approve this step; it's between you and your inbox.

03

Get reviewed, then post

Reviewed by a person

Every account goes through a short review before it can post a role, even one with a clean permit-register match or a verified domain. Once approved, your account stays active for good, and every role you post carries a verified badge across the whole candidate site.

What's automatic

  • ·Searching and claiming your company record
  • ·Requesting and confirming your email code
  • ·Seeing your permit-register match reflected on your dashboard

What's always reviewed

  • ·Whether your account can post a role at all
  • ·The first posting on a newly approved account
  • ·Reopening a role after it's been closed

Why we keep it this way

A permit-register match or a matching work email proves who you are. It doesn't say anything about whether we want a given company's roles on the candidate site, which is a separate question with a person behind the answer, not a database lookup. Keeping those as two distinct checks is what makes the verified badge mean something once you have it.

Once you're approved

No limit on live roles, and no cost right now. Posting a role here is separate from actually applying for the employment permit itself, which still goes through the government's own Employment Permits Online system. See the EPOS account setup guide for that part, and hiring international employees for the full process end to end.

Common questions

Does a permit-register match skip the review?

No. It's strong evidence you are who you say you are, but that's a different question from whether we want a company's roles listed. A clean match speeds the review along; a person still makes the call.

How long does review actually take?

We don't promise a number, because it genuinely depends on the queue, not on how clean your match is. What we can promise is that it's a one-time step: once approved, you're approved for good.

What if I signed up with a personal email?

You can still verify. Add your company's website in your profile, then request the code to any address on that domain, even if it's not the one you registered with.
